About

The San Bruno Grade Separation Program improved the safety of both motorists and pedestrians and reduce traffic congestion to and from Highway 101 in the City of San Bruno. The San Bruno Grade Separation Project elevated the Caltrain tracks above three existing at-grade street crossings at San Bruno, San Mateo, and Angus avenues. The Jerrold Avenue Bridge Replacement Program replaced the old Jerrold Avenue bridge, which was over 100 years old and no longer met modern state seismic safety requirements. This program also involved seismic retrofit of foundations/abutments of four Caltrain bridges located at Poplar Avenue, Santa Inez Avenue, Monte Diablo Avenue, and Tilton Avenue in San Mateo.

South San Francisco Station Parking Lot Improvements – This project rehabilitated the existing parking lot at the South San Francisco station. It comprised of a re-grade and re-pave of portions of parking lot, drainage installation, and lighting improvements.
